Anyone cycle thrown off after? I had mine done July 18th and had my period a few days after. It came at its normal time but only lasted a few days. This month it is late. I wasn't on birth control before I had it done so I know its  not my body adjusting from that. I know that surgery can affect the way your periods work too but I have had 2 other surgeries that didn't affect my periods. I guess I am just paranoid that something went wrong LOL

It's pretty common to have some minor to major hormone balance issues after having the procedure. I would count yourself lucky if it's just an off schedule period in stead of the severely heavy cycles a lot of women get.

How long ago did you have the procedure?, Mine was 6.5 years ago. I suffered the severe heavy bleeding and painful cycles up until about 2 years ago and fortunately things went back to pre surgery. Hope yours straighten out soon too. It's a miserable feeling

I had mine done right after I had my DD, on September 30th. And I'm just getting my period, but I'm BF and I'm just started to spot last night. I thought it was kinda a long time not too have my period. Maybe its just me..........
