My neighbor is an a**hole!

I have a 60 yr. old guy that lives under us, and he has the worst temper. Breaks things when hes mad and throws things, and we have to share our garage with him. And get this, he works at the hospital right here in my town as a respiratory therapist and works with kids as well. Whenever my kids are playing outside (and not even being loud) he comes out screaming and swearing. My boys were just outside tossing the football back and forth and laughing and not even being loud, and told them if they dont quit playing in the yard to where he can see them out of his window hes going to get mad, and pointed at them. Scared the shit out of my kids. There not even by his window! This is bullshit Iwe have rights and if my kids cant even play catch outside were moving. And when I was outside trying to talk to the prick about it e just walked away. Anybody else have peckerhead neighbors like this?

I moved this month to a 3rd fl walk up because I can't stand hearing people outside. He's old enough to move to a señor living community if he doesnt want to hear kids. My neighbors were dirty and loud. That's another reason I moved. Sorry your kids were scared...I would ask him to speak with you in the future with his noise concerns and not direct them at your children.

HE makes good money and knew  there was a 5 person family above we have 3 kids. He couldve moved anywhere. So oh well the old cooter can move weve been here a long time im not gonna keep my kids inside on a nice day because hes an old wrinkly pecker

And I was watching them theres no way where the kids were and the direction they were throwing it that it wouldve broken his window hes just psycho. I feel better venting now lol

I have no idea. I dont associate with neighbors. I have lived in my home for almost 4 years and only know one persons name because she came over to my house.

You need to talk to your landlord about this asshole. I'm assuming you have the same landlord. Make it clear to the landlord that if the downstairs neighbor doesn't stop intimidating your kids, you will call the police on him. Idoubt the landlord wants the cops coming to his property, so maybe he'll tell the guy to knock it off. If he doesn't, and the guy gets in your kids' faces again, I would call the police. Someone with that kind of temper is unpredictable.
