Is this asking too much?

I'm going to start potty training ds in a few weeks. I'd like to ask the nanny to keep a log of the times ds goes potty. Is that asking too much?

Perhaps, yes.  Depends on her other duties, as well as other factors.

It depends on how much you pay her.

Just basic duties. Take him to play group, story time, feed him, change him. She's new, but really good. I don't want to scare her off.

We pay 180 a week. She's part time.

And this is the only child she cares for during that time?

2 moms liked this

I would do a potty page with stickers so your child will have fun with it & she has an easy place to note each time he goes to the bathroom. you can do one for in the bathroom & 1 for her to take with her.

Maybe you can get a journal, keep it in the bathroom so she can just jot down the time while they are in there taking care of business. Shouldn't have to be a big deal.

No it's not too much to ask. Make a cute chart and put it in his bathroom. Leave a pen there as well. She can put the time on the chart and give him a sticker. That might take an extra 30 seconds.

Then I don't think it's too much to ask.  I'd just buy a small notebook, and set up the first page for her so that she knows how you want to have information shared.
