Here's my question: Why is this attitude not geared towards the welfare programs supporting the uber-rich? You are working hard for them in just the same way. Your hard work is providing tax cuts to them...and the Republican party wants that to continue. They also want to eliminate taxes on capital gains, dividends, interest, etc (meaning people like Mitt Romney will pay $0/0%) all while continuing to tax the muddle class.
So, you're not ok with supporting the poor who desperately need resources for SURVIVAL, but you're ok with supporting the uber-rich who do not NEED welfare in the form of tax cuts and tax breaks, but use them to fund lavish lifestyles while children starve because of their "poor, lazy" parents? Makes sense.
If you're going to argue that the rich are the job creators: then WHERE are these jobs? Why are you blaming Obama for "not creating jobs", yet claiming the tax breaks for the rich need to STAY IN PLACE because they are the job creators? See how ridiculous this is? Why did those tax breaks result in -700,000 jobs per month by the time Obama took office? Why are large companies sitting on RECORD PROFITS, while claiming they can't hire, or even worse, need to make mass layoffs?
