I think my neighbor Is too concerned. What do you think?
My neighbors just love love my dogs. Especially the one. When my dogs are outside they stop by to give them treats. I often see them pull up to my house, get out of the car to do this. Eventually, they asked me if they could do it. I said yes,if they want to.
They have a dog too and when they buy their dog straw for his house they always bring me some straw for my dogs. I buy my own straw for my dogs, but they always get to my dogs first.
One day I came back from going shopping and the one dog that they like so much wasn't there. Then, I see my neighbor coming toward me with my dog on a leash. She said he looked like he'd like a walk so she took him on one. She didn't think I'd mind. Well, I thought someone had stolen m dog.
Once during the really hot, hot weather we had during this summer she noticed that my dog was getting low on water. I was away then too, just for a few hours. So, she called the animal warden on me. Also, she said she thought one of my dogs looked too thin. ( I have 2.) She also mentioned this to the animal warden. ( This dog I got from the pound. She was a neglected dog and I saved her life, but she has always been thin. She's part greyhound and they are hard to keep weight on.)
Well, the animal warden comes out and I have a long. long talk about my part greyhound with her. She writes me up a warning.
In the meantime, my neighbors keep coming by to do things for my dogs as if I can't do them myself. They say they just love my dogs so much. Yes, I do work outside the home and my neighbors are home a lot. They seem like very kind people and they have plenty of everything. Their house, property ,everything is perfect, immaculate.
Did I mention that I have a no trespassing sign displayed prominently?
This is getting to me. What do you think I should do?
