You have the nerve to start crap with ME?!

I seriously can't stand the dumbasses that live in my apartment building! They act like entitled priss's who think everyone should cater to them, and around their schedules!

I had laundry to do the evening. We have shared laundry machines. I take my laundry down there and the wash machine was empty. So I threw my clothes in and set my timer on my phone for 30 minutes(how long it takes for the machine). I go downstairs and get my clothes out of the washer, only to discover that one of the neighbors has left a load of clothes in the dryer for what seems like a long time, because her clothes were dry and cold to the touch. Now see, this is an on going issue in my building. These bishes leave their shit in the machines ALL THE TIME. FOR AN ENTIRE DAY. Never mind that it states IN THE LEASE that you are to remove your clothes from the machines as soon as they are finished so other tenants can use them!

So, I took her clothes out of the dryer and put them neatly on top of the dryer. I have been doing this since I noticed that being lazy was a trend in this building. No one has ever said anything to me about it before. So I put my clothes in the dryer. I set my timer for 60 minutes and head back down to get my clothes. There's a huge sign on the dryer in red marker that says "I WASN'T DONE WASHING MY CLOTHES, DON'T TOUCH MY STUFF AGAIN!!! -102" Well EXCUSE me miss lazy ass! So I had my DD grab me a marker and I responded with "There were no clothes in the wash machine, I am not psychic, so fair game. You should read your lease where it states that all tenants are supposed to remove their clothes from the machines as soon as the machine is done. There are other people who live in this building who need to wash their clothes, we need to follow the rules and be respectful of the other tenants. Thanks!"

So HOPEFULLY I was able to get the point across! I do not understand how people can leave their clothes for a long period of time in the machines and think it is OKAY to do this?! The next place that I get, I am making sure has a washer and dryer in the unit! LOL

Sorry, I just needed to vent! haha

We had that problem a lot in our first apartment. Never again with the shared laundry.

I had this problem when I lived in an apt.  If it was still warm I left it for a bit so they had time to come back.  If it dryed and cold I took them out.  I had a nieghbor who even folded their clothes for them. lol Maybe having a stranger go through their things would make them more mindfull of getting there ontime.

LOL! @ your neighbor folding the clothes!

Well she apparently didn't like that I moved her clothes inches to the top of the dryer. Oh well. Don't be lazy and rude then. LOL

I had that problem a lot when I had a shared laundry. But never did it myself. I do it in my house now (since I own the house and the washer/dryer).
