i get compliments on my boy's clothes pretty frequently. they are usually wearing gymboree, janie and jack, crew cuts, mini boden, hanna andersson and other "expensive" brands. people wonder where i find their clothes and often ask how i afford them on what was an army NCO budget.
well, i confess, i buy them USED on ebay. in the rare case i buy them new i shop the clearance rack and buy clothes a year in advance. i just got my boys some summer clothes at gymboree for next year. i paid under $10 an item. similar to the prices you may be paying at walmart. i hate it when people say they can't afford these stores. you can - you just have to be smart in your quest.
often times when my children have out grown the items i resell them on ebay for almost as much as i paid. this makes the clothing practically free. i know you can get cute GIRL clothes just about anywhere, but this has really helped me get BOY clothes that are equally cute.
who else uses ebay or shopping a year in advance to afford more durable and often cuter clothing?
