Help me understand my hospital bill

Help me understand my hospital bill please. I was there for a week for a serious GI issue. My treatment there was terrible so I don't trust them at all and requested an itemized bill. I know I still have to pay my full deductible regardless, (a set $ amount), but I am not about to let them overcharge my insurance for shitty service.

Oxygen - I was never administered oxygen. That's all this would be, right? Like oxygen in a mask?

Prochlorperazine 25 mg supp - does supp mean suppository? Because I did not have that.

US RUQ GB LUQ LTD ABD - I have no fricken clue what this is, but it's $800

Ed level v - any ideas? It's $3500

I'm also certain they didn't give me all of the drugs listed, but I didn't think to note what I was taking so I'll just disregard that part.

Thanks!

There should be a phone number on your bill that you can call and they will help explain your charges.

I would give the hospital a call and ask what all that is. If you indeed did NOT receive the services then call your insurance company because its fraud.

Call billing or call your insurance.

Prochlorperazine is an antinausea medication. I don't know about the rest though. Maybe ask hospital billing to clarify all of that for you?

The last one is the level of patient you were. Like Level 5 is trauma. So that charge I think is like for your room and meals.

Oxygen may be your pulse oxygen monitor, the thing they put on your finger/toe to read the oxygen saturation in your blood.

The abbreviations look like some sort of abdominal ultrasound/X-ray.

That's all I got.

Oxygen is when they check your heart rate, pulsox, and temp.

Prochlorperazine 25 mg supp  - suppository

Ultrasound, right upper quadrant, gastoro, left upper quadrant, limited, adbdomen.

Emergency room level 5
