I know it is 2012 but do you hope that your kids marry their own race?

Im wondering, do you moms deep down inside  (if your kids arent mixed) hope or try and point your kids in the direction of staying with in their own race? If so why? What does your DH think?

For those with mixed kids do you hope you child dates a particular race as well? If so why?

I am just curious what people truely feel about this since you can post anon. it wont hurt to post your real feelings.

My daughter is mixed with so many things from her dad, and even if she was just one race I would allow her to date what ever race she wanted

Nope, and DH doesn't care as well. Both of our families have interracial couples and mixed children, its not a big deal. You love who you love, and skin color shouldn't dictate that.

I hope my little girls stay little girls forever and never grow up or get married, but if they must I don't care what race the person is as long as they are good to my kids.
