I only have boys so idk but I would think that it would be a case by case basis. Also it would go by age. Teen girls are probably harder than teen boys. But then little boys are probably harder than little girls.

Boys are physically exhausting. Girls are mentally exhausting. Both wear you out in different ways

I raised my two step kids (1 boy and 1 girl) thru the teen years. And boys are easier! So now that I have my DS who is 19mo old, I have been there done that and he is so easy to deal with. My SD 4yr old lil girl is high maintenance! Boys are way easier! Again boys are easier!

My two sons 6 & 16 have always been easier than my 14 year old daughter.

Once you get two or more boys close in age it isn't easy. I have three boys and a girl and when one is awake it is super easy. When they all are awake and playing off of the pack it is very hard and stressful sometimes, especially with the one upping etc.

I have 3 girls and I think my friends boys are far more annoying. Not sure if they are harder to raise, but I am often reminded why God gave me girls, and not boys. Lol!

I believe it's all based on how you raise your kids. If you raise a girl to be princesses girls will be harder. So far my kids have been equal, dd get dressed the same way ds did as a baby and one year old stretchy pants/shorts and a tshirt. And once she gets a little older it will be jeans and a tshirt. My girl loves playing cars and in dirt and wrestling just like her brother. She doesn't get babied or treated any differently because she is a girl.
