Feel like I need to make something else clear..

I'm not saying, nor would I ever say, that one gender is BETTER than the other.
I am simply saying that I was told that boys are more of a challenge to raise and I strongly, with all my heart and soul, disagree with that.

That being said, both of our kids are completely awesome. Both my stepson and my daughter. If I had a biological boy, I'm sure I would also be just as much smitten with him as with our other kids. My daughter is hilarious, full of surprises, and I actually admire her strong will and determination. I am in no way saying that it's a bad thing. It's just a fact. She is a big challenge. I never said I wasn't up for that challenge. ;)

Lol when I was growing up I threw a car jack at my brother's head. Nailed it, too. So I wouldn't put it past a girl to hold her own as far as violence and fighting are concerned.

Quoting popomill:

I think having more than one girl would be insane compared to having just one boy. BUT I have seen boys do some pretty crazy shit that I don't think no girls could ever do! (For example......girls just don't hit their sister over the head with a steel pipe, or almost rip off nipples over a video game, or beat each other with a two inch thick wooden rod that is supposed to keep the slider door shut)

I prayed for boys...God listened.  I've got two boys that are now young men.  I love them to death and they're respectuful , kind and hold down full time job.  I'm grateful that they still live at home as the economy sucks!

It just depends, but in general they are equal because they are both children you have to raise the best you know and when they go out in the world all you can do is hope and pray they use most of what you taught them and act the way you raised them.

Yeah. A Cafemom post is real, hard evidence.

Evidence?

I posted what I've been told, what I thought about it, and others put in their individual votes.

What do I need evidence for? These are all just opinions. Completely different ball game.

I'm with you on that one. Only difference is I have 3 Boys 15,13 and almost 5,with 1 girl that is grown up 20. Omg she was way worst than my Boys. She was so mouthy. But your right once all of them are up its on with I did this better then you,You can't do this but I can. Omg the one up on you thing drives me crazy.

Once you get two or more boys close in age it isn't easy. I have three boys and a girl and when one is awake it is super easy. When they all are awake and playing off of the pack it is very hard and stressful sometimes, especially with the one upping etc.
