Why is black and white the most taboo? It seems as if any other combination is cause for a second glance but Lawwwwwwwd don't "mix" black and white. Why is that?

No clue. But I will say I've got some funky looks when out with df before. I'm white and he's Mexican/Native American.

Because to some they are the most opposite. Not by just skin color either. Some people see the races as just 2 completely different races and completely opposite, so they think they shouldn't mix. I think it is completely stupid lol.

It depends on where you live, here its arab and white, or arab and black. We have a huge arab community. Im mixed, my dad is arab/white, my mom is black. I know when I was younger it was a big deal. But not really anymore, I married a irish guy they don't really come whiter then dh and nobody could care besides his grandmother whose over 100 and senile.
