Man, there's some really harsh opinions of the south here! I'm a southern girl and more so a Texan girl. I like fried pickles, grits, BBQ on Sundays, shorts in November, horses, Lonestar Beer, the simple life. I've got an accent & am never misunderstood. I've got good grammar & better manners. I'm not at all racist. I believe that the fight for gay marriage is a civil rights issue. I think I'm a product of the healthiest sides of the south. I have deep respect for my heritage & history, but I'm a progressive thinker and am not constrained by the past.
I've got steel in my spine, love in my heart & butter in the frying pan!!
