What's one thing you wanted as a child - REALLY wanted - that you never got?

Posted by   + Show Post

For YEARS I wanted one of those Easy Bake Ovens.  I NEVER got one! EVER! If my daughter asks for one, I will go out that day and buy her one just for that lol. She's only 3.5 years old and doesn't know what they are yet.

Lol, word of caution....one of my friends said the mixes are terribly expensive and taste horrible now.

I loved the Easy Bake oven!! I cannot wait until my DD is old enough to use one. I won't even wait for her to ask for it. I'm buying it for me! LOL

Omg I loved mine. My cakes were the shit!

I was going to say easy bake oven, too! Now I hate anything that has to do with the kitchen, and my parents would get upset, and I'd say, well you should have gotten it for me, then I would like it! Lol

I met him about 2 months before he passed away from brain and lung cancer. He was to far gone to recognize me. He did apologize to my mom in his one semi-lucid moment. I look a lot like her. I was 20 when I met him. My mom still doesn't know I went.

Quoting brittney28:

;( have you got the chance to meet him yet?

Quoting GreenEyePixie:

To meet my bio father.

A Mrs. Potato Head lol. Idk why I never got one but I used to want one. I actually thought about that yesterday because I bought my son a Toy Story edition Mr. Potato Head.
