What's one thing you wanted as a child - REALLY wanted - that you never got?

Posted by   + Show Post

For YEARS I wanted one of those Easy Bake Ovens.  I NEVER got one! EVER! If my daughter asks for one, I will go out that day and buy her one just for that lol. She's only 3.5 years old and doesn't know what they are yet.

Power wheels. I had always always wanted one but we lived in apts and I wasn't allowed to get one. My son had one at 1 year old (the little baby quad) and now he has the Jeep Hurricane. LOL. I'm jealous.

A doll house. My mom bought me a Lego one ( it's was cute) because it was way cheaper and she put it together Christmas eve for me.

But it just wasn't the same and I felt bad about not liking it. Lol. I played with it for awhile but it just wasnt the same.

Tiffany's necklace. Got one 7 years ago with my 1st paycheck. My mom didn't and doesn't believe in jewelry for little girls.

So.sorry to hear that. Do you plan on ever telling her?

Quoting GreenEyePixie:

I met him about 2 months before he passed away from brain and lung cancer. He was to far gone to recognize me. He did apologize to my mom in his one semi-lucid moment. I look a lot like her. I was 20 when I met him. My mom still doesn't know I went.

Quoting brittney28:

;( have you got the chance to meet him yet?

Quoting GreenEyePixie:

To meet my bio father.

Oh! And another thing I wanted was one of those twin dolls that you can have custom made to look like you. And you buy the matching outfits so you could dress alike. I used to want one of those soooo bad! It's creepy now that I think about it lol. And a American Girl doll.
