I just went outside to go get some McDonald's breakfast. When I pulled back up in front of my house what do I see? The curb in front of my house and around the corner lined in Romney/Ryan signs. My landlord (whom we share a duplex with.. but his porch and yard are on the opposite side of the house from ours.. he can't even see the front of our apartment from his) decided to make a "political statement." I am not voting for Romney, I don't agree with 95% of his policies. The man basically disgusts me. I also have no desire to be associated with his name, which is now plastered all over my front yard.

Can I take them down? Can I get Obama/Biden signs and put them up? What can I do about this? I'm really pissed off. Anyone?

(I'd also like to add real quick, that I might be more inclined to accept his "political statement" if it had any merit. But is political statement is basically "I'm a racist motherf***** & I want that (insert really bad word here) out of any kind of power" (yes.. I've heard him say this)

i'd think, that if they're in your yard that you pay rent on, you can take them down.

I would just take them down. I wouldn't put up opposing signs but if you really want too. But yeah, I'd just take them down.

YOu can take down the one in your yard, but not in others yards.

Even if I rent and my landlord, who technically owns the property, put them up?

Just take them down. You are renting the property so you have a say in what goes up on the lawn

Put a bigger sign on the inside of your window.

I take them out of our yard all the time no matter who they are for or what they say. My property not yours keep your damn signs off my lawn.
