I swear I'm not usually this ditzy I've just been sick and more tired than usual.

I went to the grocery store yesterday and picked up chocolate milk boxes. 4 packages.

This morning I look in the fridge to grab one for the kid and they aren't there. I check the other fridge since we use it as a drink fridge and it's not there and I check my car to see if it fell out and nope not there either.

So I think hmm they forgot to give me a bag at the store I'll just go get the milk and at almost 10 bucks I was going to get it.

So they were nice and gave me the 4 packages and I get home and put them in the fridge and then open the pantry to figure out lunch and there they were!!

I feel like an idiot and I think I need to take them back because that was 10 bucks worth of milk.

Update. I called and actually spoke to the guy who gave me the milk earlier today. He laughed it off and said next time I come in to just tell the service desk my name and they would ring up the 4 extra packages. I apologized and thanked him and he was nice about the situation even though I'm still embarrassed.

For anyone wondering what brand or what boxed chocolate milk looks like I uploaded a picture on page 8. Down here those boxes are around a buck a piece. I've also seem them at some Starbucks.

keep it..

I walk out of the store at least once a month, with something that rolled under the car seat, or was on the bottom of the cart... it happens. Grocery stores are so expensive anyways..

They are boxes. They don't need to be refrigerated.

And that is your opinion.

Whats dishonest is making us pay 4.50 for a gallon of milk.

Awwww, yeah, definitely take them back and just let them know you had misplaced them and thank them for being so willing to replace them.

Hell, maybe they'll let you keep them since you're being honest. They may not be able to resell those anyway since they are a good/drink item!

It looks like juice boxes and I believe it's called shelf milk.

Plain as day on each box it says does not need refrigeration.
