So, I have finally made the decision to finally get a Breast Augmentation and a Breast Lift and I am beyond excited. After breastfeeding, losing over 75+lbs, I'm currently 100lbs less than my max weight, and the fact that I have tubular breasts, see here for more info on tubular breasts --> http://www.sanfranciscoplasticsurgeryblog.com/tubular-breasts-and-plastic-surgery-walnut-creek-san-francisco-east-bay-area/

my girls have been defeated...or deflated...nonetheless.. I decided to put a spring in their step, and get them upgraded. I literally have nothing except nipples. I run alot and I don't even need a sports bra. I just wear a compression tank and so I have a chest like a boy :( ..actually we were joking around one time and my husband said he had bigger breasts than me.. of course he retracted the statement and apologized profusely, but sadly it's true.

So, the reason I'm here is to get some input from those who have already gotten an augmentation or are thinking about getting an augmentation. Silicone or Saline?

I'm getting a submuscular implant, because I literally have no breast tissue..with either a moderate or a moderate + profile..

Thanks in advance!

My mom did not need a lift when she got hers and she breast-fed four babies, making them hang off of her chest like long empty skin sacks. She went from a D while breastfeeding, to an A after, and then a D again with the implants.

Silicone. Im in the same boat extremeweightloss and severe tubular deformity.

Did you have to get a lift as well because of the deformity?

omg when i nursed my dd i was a good size C cup. Then I shrunk to a itty bitty A. And no matter what I do I have such pointy boobs that it looks like I could cut glass.

I want new boobs sooooo bad! I hate my little ones. But dh says they are perfect and won't let me spend that kind of money. LOL

LOL!  I asked my husband to tell me what he really thought, and he pretty much agreed with me... I think we both miss the breasts I had when breastfeeding :( lol

Silicone implants almost killed my mother.

Saline gets my vote.

How does she like them? Has she had any issues?

Quoting OxbAbIebxO:

I'm not sure. Maybe in my dreams this will happen lol. I think my mom got silicone though.

Thanks! I only have one son, who will be at school for the first two days, since the appointment is on a Thursday morning. We were going to use care credit, what was the fee to use them? Did you get silicone or saline?

Quoting Maisy08:

I did under the muscle and through the armpit 5.5 years ago. I love my c's. I was out of pain within 2 days, worst is wearing the band. Meds for 2 days, it was not bad at all. The only thing that was scary was going in the day of surgery, I have 5 kids so that was the scary part. I paid 4200.00 and used care credit that has no interest for like a year. Good luck and enjoy!!

She had a slow leak and it poisoned her body. She won a huge settlement, because of it - but now has serious health issues. Her body is full of toxins. It's awful.

After having saline for so long I can just tell you that silicone feels/acts more real. And silicone gel doesn't leak.

I'm going with high profile round silicone gel and I can't wait to switch them out. A higher profile makes them look bigger without going to crazy with CC's

I have saline, but will be switching to silicone soon. So clearly silicone :)

What made you choose silicone over saline?  Which profile did you choose?
