at the church hayride she wanted to go swimming in the pond i guess she was running along the shore got to close to the edge and splat into the mud just as im grabbing her shes covered in mud and im stuck up to my knees because she wouldnt stop when i told her to she wont listen to me about anything she could have drowned because she wouldnt listen when i told her no and stop and even said her name and middle name it was immediately bathtime when we got home then she wouldnt get out of the tub so i spanked her then she got out. screaming at me the whole time it took spanking her which i rarely do to make her listen to me she has speech delays and may have autism

You spanked her while wet? Not a good idea. Not bashing because I know you didn't know this but skin is softer right after emerged in water. I'm sure that seriously hurt. Go soak your hand for 10 minutes and then smack it. It hurts 10 times worse. I would apologize.
