How did you know it was time...for divorce?

I think it's time.  Things came to a head this morning before work.  But how did you come to the ultimate decision?  How did you go about it?  I still love him.  I think he loves me.  But he absolutely refuses to go to counseling.  And I just can't take it anymore.  Everyone in the house is miserable.  The good days no longer make up for the anger.

Before everyone asks - there is absolutely no physical abuse.

When the idea of spending one more moment with my exhusband made me want to puke, I knew I was done.

I'm sorry.  :*(  That hasn't even crossed my mind.  I'd bet my life it hasn't crossed his either.

when I found myself more lonely with him than I was actually being alone. It was the moment when I was once again crying in the bedroom and he was once again walking out the door refusing to talk. I just knew neither one of us meant enough to each other to continue.

I can't see that far ahead.  When I look in the future, he's there.  We are supposed to always be together.
