I think it's rude when...

...people ask how much you paid for things! My mom ALWAYS asks how much this or that cost, what our tax return amounted to, how much I spent on a gift, etc. My cousin's husband walked into our house, looked around and asked how much we pay for it. Literally two minutes ago I was asked how much my wedding cost from an old friend. Mind you, she demanded to be a bridesmaid and when I picked other girls, didn't even bother showing up! She also just became engaged this past weekend. Do you think it's rude when people ask how much?

I agree. I think it's rude when people talk about finances, period.

Doesn't really bother me much except when my family insist on knowing exactly is in our bank account. It's more annoying to me.

depends really. If they just want to know then yeah it is rude but if they are looking for something similar or are trying to compare pricing then no its not.

I wouldn't ask someone but I also wouldn't be offended if someone asked me.

No... But sometimes yes. It depends. I ask how much stuff costs if I'm looking for something similar or it is relevant. I'd never ask to just know, or be nosey.
Depends IMO
