little llama drama!!!

My toddler (whom I call "little llama") threw a fit when I dropped him off a preschool today. He threw his breakfast in the floor and then stepped on it! I told him to pick it up and throw it away. He threw himself in the floor instead. His teacher came over and said the same thing. He stood up, threw it away and washed his hands.
Why do children listen to other adults better than their parents?
Ypur guess is as good as mine because apparently I'm considered the "bad mom" in the family bc my kids listen to every one but me :-/
Yeah I think they do tune you out. Like "oh it's just mom yelling again" lol. My sis is having a hard time with my nephew the same way I have a hard time with my kids. Even though we are always stern when they misbehave. But since we don't see each others kids often when I have her son he's a perfect angel. He listens to every word I say and never hissy fits. I call him "the good one" lol.

It's the opposite with mine so I couldn't say
Lucky. I am very stern with my son when he misbehaves, but I think because he's always around me and is used to it, he just tunes it out
Why does my husband scratch his balls in front of me and not other people? ;)
