Juuuuust kidding!

When is an acceptable amount of time to wait after your first wedding for someone to renew their weddings vows? 5 years? 10, 20 years?

Eta: what about if they went to the court house to get married the first time?

I think whenever you want to although if you did after only a year if being married if laugh to be honest.

I think it is stupid. I think it is just a reason for women to say "look at me" and drag their poor pathetic husbands through a second wedding. Marriage vows do not expire.

We never had a wedding, so we were going to go it at 5 years. My husband changed his mind and we are going to at 10 when we don't have such little babies. Our youngest will be 4 by then.
