I went to pick up some milk tonight at Walmart cause its always the cheapest there.....4 bucks for a gallon of milk. It's even more at the other stores. 4.20,4.50 at all stores. Crazy. It was just 3.68 three days ago.
How much is milk by you?

I can't wait till we move back home our food bill will be cut in HALF. Milk is still 3 bucks there. I looked a sales flyer from where were moving and can't beleive how much cheaper food is there than here. Our food bill will be cut in half or more. We spend 500 a month for three of us. And that doesn't go far. That's with using coupons and sales flyers and meal planning. And my rule of never buying anything that's not on sale and that I don't have a coupon for. Ill only be spending about 200-250 for the same thing when we move. Can't wait. Anyway milk! How much is it by you? How much do you spend on food for how many people. I'm always curious.

If I buy the regular and not organic, which I do sometimes, it's about $1.89 for a gallon.  I never knew until recently how incredibly cheap this is.  Guess I should consider myself lucky.

I think it's 4.60 at walmart but I get it at Braums Fresh Market,  it's still 3.59 there.

Lets see... we have five that eat and I'm exclusively breastfeeding, so I'm eating more than normal.    My family can overreat rather than undereat if I let them...   Two of my kids are pre-teens (a boy and a girl), so they are starting to really want to eat more.

Anyway....

We buy a discount club stuff for about $260 per month.  In this we get a lot of cheap meats, a few veggies/fruits, and a few other random food stuffs all frozen foods.

Then, we spend about 225 twice a month at Aldi.   Plus about 25-50 a week for fresh eggs, milk, bread, and SOME produce (mostly kept for the kids) or foods we just don't like Aldi brand of...

So... all in all about 800-900

We will occasionally buy a cheap pizza or small fast food on Sundays after church, but not every Sunday... and we keep a few bucks on hand for if the kids have an event or something, we can take them for a sandwich if we are crunched for time.

(((as a side note, we survive on about 50K per year)))
