how do we get past the "crybaby" stage?

Is this even a stage?? Dd is 5. She cries about everything. Her tv won't work, she can't find this, someone told her not to do that. What do you do\say when your child cries all the time about everything? *E.T.A* This is apparently normal which makes me feel a little better. Hopefully whoever comes next won't have such a hard case of it. Lol

My 4 yo does this occasionally. I ignore it, just like I ignore the whining.

My DD does it to. I just tell her that crying won't fix anything and I'll talk to her/help her when she calms down.

I def. Send her to her room until she is done crying. It drives me insane. Is this all there is? Ignore her and let her cry it out?

My son does it and it is frustrating! He's four and wasn't whiny until this year and now he cries about everything!
