Anyone know of any places that help families for Turkey Day & Christmas??

Salvation Army is great, but I'm not sure when the sign-up cut off date is. But they are worth checking out.

Check with churches in your area. A lot of them will adopt families for the holidays.

 The Salvation Army and our two local food pantries, they are run through a partnership with the two local Catholic Churches and the local Lutheran Church.

Have you tried contacting your local DHS for places?  They probably have a list for your area.  The only places I can think of is local churches ( i know my church helps needy families during the holidays ), Salvation Army and toys for tots.

Check with your local schools. I know headstart here hands out food baskets, we always donate to them.

Area food banks will often have a list of resources. Many local communities will have churches, schools, etc that do different things. It can really vary from place to place

That list would vary city by city, and requirements vary location by location.

Check with local pplice and fire. They may be doing a special charity.
