On a halloween costume? For yourself and/or for your kids. I'm looking online for a toddler costume and seeing several for $50-60. Who spends that much?!

I bought both my DD's costumes at Walmart last year when they had them 75% off. Youngest DD is going to be a fairy princess ( paid $3.00, it was about $20 originally), oldest DD is going to be a hippie, ( dress was $3, boots were $4.50, would have cost me over $50 for her dress and boots). They play dress up alot and the boots have already paid for themselves. The accessories were also clearances at $.25, just need to get a crown for youngest DD which is $1.00 at dollar tree. So about $12-15 for both costumes. I don't dress up.
