Depends on custody. Do you have full or part? We have full custody of my SD so I claim her as a dependant.

I think it depends on the health insurance company. My ds is on dh's insurance and he is his step son.

If you're married to their father/mother. Yes. Most of the time.

Most of the time it is based on what it says in the CO.

Most do but my husbands old job refused to cover my children after they were bought out by a bigger corporation.
