This is my 1st child he will be 7months on Xmas and we already started shopping. When I asked my friend have they started shopping she looked at me like I was crazy (she has a DD same age) she says they are to small to know what's going on and that they are not getting her presents.. what??? My son will have presents it his first Xmas regardless if he knows or not.. I know. So do you?

I got my son a ton of stuff for his first Christmas. He was 6 months old. I bought toys that he could grow into though.

DS was only 3 months old and he got presents! Obviously I opened them, and it was more for the family than for the baby, but the whole point is to "give". Who cares if the kid is too young to get it?

My youngest was two months old at Christmas and got presents. Mostly clothes bc they outgrow so quickly at that age but a few age appropriate toys as well.
