We were at the Halloween store and there was this plush soccer ball purse thing.. my three year old son LOVES sports balls and he wanted it, so I got it for him. We got up to the register and he said "heres my purse!" and put it on the counter.

My SO wasnt too pleased. lol!

Lol. That's cute! I was actually pretty happy and a little shocked with how SO is with DS. He wanted this huge ugly doll from WalMart, and his Daddy got it for him with no hesitation. Also, DS really wanted to do a pageant, and SO was totally cool with it and excited for him.

The girl at the counter was a former coworker of mine, and she was like "I totally dont blame him, this is a pretty sweet purse!" People were laughing their asses off.

That's good though. I can imagine I will encounter the same issues with my SO in the future with DS. My mom found him some really cute boots (he's 7 months) and they do look a bit feminine, but are adorable! Anyways, my SO threw a fit over them. I put DS in them whenever I can ;)

When my oldest son was around three he saved and spent his money on a pink, metal Dora purse with a beaded handle. He loved that purse and carried it everywhere for more than a year filed with trains and tools. I think even now, a few years later, it still sits on a shelf in his bedroom. None of us are willing to part with it.

I hope your son enjoys his purse.
