Feeling SILLY guilt

Anyone know what people in the army eat??

My husband is gone to basic and I'm feeling so guilty about what I'm eating because I know its his favorite dinner lol. I still haven't heard from him today.

I was in the Army and the food we ate in basic was amazing...I have never eaten better before or after basic

Its just normal food. But you eat it so fast you dont taste it till the next day. I still eat fast sometimes and im not in anymore lol

Yep the 27th...his discharge date is end of Nov. His Captain was dumbfounded that he wasnt allowed to reenlist.

The food is not that bad.

basic defac food is awesome!! And they have cake and soda machines, but your DH won't get to touch them! In the field, they get mre's or jimmy deans. a jimmy dean is two lunch sized cans of ravioli, speggetios, or viana sauges, a can of fruit juice, two small packs of sunflower seeds, and a medium pack of cookies/and chips. no heat up for jimmy deans.

your DH is fine, just think, when he gets home, he will eat anything you make for a while!
