How long to you keep...

How long do you keep bras? I was shopping at Lane Bryant this evening and I heard the sales lady tell someone that they only reccommend keeping a bra for six months. Ummm I am sorry but if I spend 60$ on a bra, it better last longer than six months!!!

I've heard 6mths-1yr as a basis. I have to say though, there are a lot of factors to take into consideration. I have a ton of bras. I definitely don't wear them out in 6mths because they don't get that much use.

Haha same here...a few days before payday I'm always running around saying " I HAVE. To get a bra "....yeah that doesn't happen lol..we always need other things and I put it on the back burner.

Umm lol until its no longer wearable. Torn, wires poking out etc. I couldn't afford to replace them every six months although I would love to

If you take care of them (wash only in cold water, never put them in the dryer) and they're well made, they can easily last years.  I had some from VS (no longer made) that were still in great shape for 7 years.  Have some now from Soma that are going on 3 years and still look like new.

Until it breaks in some form. Clasps break or wires pop out.
