How to be a good SAHM? update pg 12

I'm a SAHM and full-time student and I suck at being a SAHM.

I never cook. House is always dirty. Laundry is backed up. Kids get bathed 1-2 times a week. I shower about every 3 days. I get super stressed. I dont get time to study. My homework has been late lately.

How do you do it?

Having a dirty house does not mean you are bad SAHM. It means you are a bad housekeeper. Don't worry, so am I :)

Just do. I wake up, feed myself and son, start laundry, soak dishes, read a book and watch cartoons or color with ds, clean kitchen, switch laundry add more. Shower, vacume, mop, go to the park or for a walk. Put ds for a nap, write, read or whatever. Get him up, snack, prep dinner, etc.... If you can't do it maybe you need some help, do you have family that could help? I started with 15 min, just take 15 min and spend it on one task, then keep going, it's amazing what you can do in 15 min. Good luck.

Schedule your day, meal plan, follow a cleaning calendar ( http://www.justmommies.com/ has a good one) , assign chores to your kids (even little kids can pick up toys, set the table, ect.) And then just DO IT.
