bleeding too much?

3 weeks ago I bled for 3 days (light and dark red) and then started bleeding sunday and bled for 2 days (bright red with a couple small clots) Then last night I had a little bleeding but it was light pink and it just happened last night then stopped. I don't know whats going on with my body. Im on the pill and I take it regularly plus have sex w/o a condom. We're getting a test today but im wondering if it might be something else too... help plz!!

I had some normal period cramping with both previous bleeding but with yesterday and even today its lighter cramping but no bleeding today.
