I spent my food stamps on........

Posted by Anonymous   + Show Post
What do you think? Do you think parents who receive food stamps should buy food that's healthy for their family or shop for cheap food to save money? Whole foods or Walmart? Please no negative comments just facts and opinions, if possible can someone compare a budget 365 products verses great value??

For all those who are saying this subject is like beating a dead horse,
#one ppl are always complaining about what a family can or should buy, Now your mad if someone post about what grocery store offer healthier options.
I see nothing wrong with a few sweets, and no this has not been posted...

Feed your family, but don't buy lots of junk like cakes, cookies and pop. Every once in a while, a treat is ok, but buy things that are for meals, not just snacks. As a former walmart cashier, I would see that happen all too often :(

I would say healthy foods but i don't have problems with people on food stamps buying cookies or snack stuff if they are at least feeding their children mainly healthy stuff. You can feed you kids healthy stuff that fills them up and nourishes their bodies cheaper than icky processed stuff that has lots of bad for you contents and leaves them hungry a few hours later.

What I think doesn't matter. People will feed their families how they want to can't change peoples habits.
