If a mom is 10 weeks pregnant, and she is texting while driving and gets in a car accident, and sadly the baby doesn't make it, should she be charged with vehicular manslaughter?

Or what if it is someone elses fault Say someone else is texting and driving (instead of her) and she gets in a car accident and loses the baby, should that guy (or girl) be charged with vehicular manslaughter???

Ugh. Yes, absolutely. It may be a mistake on the mother's part, but she should be charged in the same manner as she would if she were to kill a different innocent bystander.

You mean if the baby dies? 10 weeks pregnant is a sticky because it's not far a long, so I don't know... But say she's 8 months, than yes absolutely (although I'd like to say yes at 10 weeks too)

Would it be different if she is on the way to have an abortion anyway?
