what do you think of this...

I have had this guy in my life for 2 years. Since the beginning of this year, life has changed. He'll get calls all hours of the day and night, and then he'll leave shortly thereafter. He'll be gone for two days or so, and then he returns, until he gets another call.

What do you make of this?

He seems like such an outstanding guy though. And when we are together, I'm his priority. We've discussed kids.

How low are your standards that a man who leaves for days at a time with no explanation is "outstanding"??

It's not really about the bikes, it's more about the brotherhood. Just what came to mind when I read your post. Call and answer, leave, no questions asked, they gotta go.

Well, I'm not stupid..... just bored. Here's the full story.

My husband works as a freight conductor on a railroad. He is on call 24/7/365 unless he takes an unpaid sick day.

He finished his training and started the job the beginning of this year.

It is a damn good job, but there is a joke in this community that the railroad is the wife, and the wife is a mistress.

He has 90 minutes from taking a call until he goes on duty, and usually it is a 12 hour trip to the next town. He then has to rest for 10 hours, by federal law, and then he has to wait for a train home. Usually he is gone 36 hours a trip.

He got his call at 3:30 this morning, and I was konked out. So when i got up this morning I felt like a mistress.

He is an outstanding man. Usually, he's texting or calling when he's not sleeping when he's out of town. He is very trustworthy.

He's not cheating. And he is a fantastic husband.

Sorry for the troll fail. Lol
