I have had this guy in my life for 2 years. Since the beginning of this year, life has changed. He'll get calls all hours of the day and night, and then he'll leave shortly thereafter. He'll be gone for two days or so, and then he returns, until he gets another call.
What do you make of this?

lol its ok, troll posting takes a lot of effort to get it *just* right. there was so little info I automatically thought TROLL. LOL My bffs dad was a freight conductor and his life was like that too. Turned out he was a child molester though and was molesting kids all over the country... not that I am saying your dh is though! I know a few years back they made a big deal about texting while conducting.

He finished his training and started the job the beginning of this year.

He has 90 minutes from taking a call until he goes on duty, and usually it is a 12 hour trip to the next town. He then has to rest for 10 hours, by federal law, and then he has to wait for a train home. Usually he is gone 36 hours a trip.
He got his call at 3:30 this morning, and I was konked out. So when i got up this morning I felt like a mistress.
He is an outstanding man. Usually, he's texting or calling when he's not sleeping when he's out of town. He is very trustworthy.
He's not cheating. And he is a fantastic husband.

That sucks. There is always some sicko in every field. :(
Yea, the feds have made it illegal to use a cell phone in anyway, unless the train is not moving and "safety sensitive" operations have ended.
But he texts me as soon as he's off-duty and as soon as he can he calls.
