Long story short, I am struggling in a class and I want to know if I would be better off dropping the class and receiving a "W" (withdrew) or just finish the class and take the low grade (which would be a D) ? Please help!

If you have financial aid stay in the class. You could risk academic probabtion and not be able to recieve any aid in the future. My SO did this and will not be able to get financial aid this year.

You can get aid on probabtion. You just have one semester to improve it. If you don't then you lose your aid until its improved.

I'm not sure about that. He dropped like three. It probably would be best to stick it out though.

If you drop below 6 credit hours or less that 67% you will be put on financial aid probation. You have to successfully complete the next semester but will still get aid.
