Is it true that public schools are teaching Muslim practices and views because Obama is Muslim and wants it instilled?

I don't believe in teaching religion in schools. If they want to go to a private school, then fine...

I have no idea, the only child I have in the public school system is in a special needs program so he wouldn't retain any of that anyway.

I highly doubt it! Ds's school sure doesn't, but if they did, I'm fine with teaching diversity, especially in helping them understand Muslims and terrorists are not synonymous.
