Court just gave my pos, abusive ex supervised visitation of our boys. NO, NO, NO!!! I'm fucking livid!
*So the Guardian told the judge that he doesn't see my ex as a threat, knowing everything that happened. What the fuck kinda shit is this??!! He wants to do ONE supervised visit and a home study after that.
I sat with my boys and cried. This is a fucking nightmare!!

Some abusive men read books and have a college degree. Some men don't start off abusive either. Some are charming, loving and kind at first. It's not like they have a sign stamped on their foreheads. Good for you for having 'standards' but I'm sure those women who are/were abused have them too.

nobody's perfect. just because a man swears or didn't go to college doesn't mean he's a jerk. and vice versa, there are college educated men with perfect manners who are very abusive.  sometimes people don't show their true colors until later in the relationship.

Not physically. He would threaten their lives. Said he'd throw our 3 month old son out the window to put him out of his misery. Everything that happened to me was in front of them because he said they didn't understand what was going on.

First of all, he wasn't abusive at first. He was awesome with my daughter and we had a good, loving relationship. It wasn't til more than a year later, after our son was born that he did a 180. He quit his job and became a completely different person. Like pp said, good for you for having standards, but idgaf about your standards.

You're an idiot.How in the hell did you make it to adulthood without realizing that NOTHING in this world is black and white?!?There are gray areas in every situation,I don't care how carefully you plan your life.
