and here is how

Job: $8/40 hrs a week $16,640 a year

$3,614 a year in child support

$15,000 in financial aid (after tuition the rest is sent to me)

$684/month in food stamps: $8,208 a year

At tax time I get about $10,000 from federal and $2,000 from state: $12,000

Grand total of $55,462

I also get Medicaid and free daycare.

LOL  You'll be paying back that financial aid. 

When you actually make over $50k/yr, you'll still be broke....probably more than you are, now. 

YAY for reality checks (non-negotiable, of course).

I agree with this. Kinda don't care...I opened the post because I was expecting you to say that you actually made $50k a year and had like 10 kids of something. But this is the same shit, just a different roll of toilet paper. Next!

How do you qualify for assistance if you recieve that much in support? Just curious because we support 6 kids on around 3800/mo and don't qualify for anything.

I'm not dumb I know this. With my degree I could potentially make as much as $70,000 a year and all earned! :)

How do you get $8000 a year in food stamps and only $3000 in child support? How many kids do you have and why are the tax payers instead of the parents paying for them?

that 15 grand is before or after tution is taken out?

i sure don't get that much back and I am in school full time.
