urgent care worthy or wait?

I feel like I should definitely know the answer but I dont. I hate going to our urgent care on the weekends but my doctor is on vacation and her sub if you will wont be in Monday. I have this strange rash on my chest, upper back & side. It looks like bug bites but it burns like I've touched a 400 degree oven with no protection. I have a really nasty earache to go with it and a very irritating cough. Would you err on the side of caution and have it looked at? It won't cost me anything but I hate to waste a doctors time.

No, I probably wouldn't go for a rash. A bad ear ache where I may need antibiotics or something, yes.

I ask myself..will it be worth the money and wait of Urgent Care or would I rather just stay home? lol

If it hurts that bad then I would probably go in.

I don't honestly know.  I haven't a clue what those symptoms could mean. It almost sounds like a childhood disease like Rubella.  Google search time I think.

The only reason I worry is my mom said that she had a similar issue and it turned out to be shingles. I'm not familiar with them but I do know they are very painful, and whatever this is, its painful.
