In a heartbeat.  Haven't had the best experiences giving birth in hospitals.  Never again and my husband agrees.

No but I had extremely high risk pregnancies and deliveries. I think if you are healthy with no complications and you have access to an excellent midwife, go for it! ;-) its all what moms are comfortable with. .

I was a high risk pregnancy. I started to develop pre-ecclampsia. (Sp.) Even if I was totally healthy, I have a bad issue hemorrhaging after each birth. So in a perfect world yes. But it just wasn't possible for me.

Yes! If I ever have another baby I'm going home birth. My last labor my water broke at 7 pm, my contractions started at 8 pm within half an hour they were so intense I couldn't walk, then we had to drive 40 minutes to get to the hospital with contractions one on top of another got to the hospital with enough time to lay down on the bed before I pushed him out...
I never want to do that drive again ever!

We are hoping that when we decide to have a child together we will be able to afford a month or so closer to a birthing center.

I used to want one. I had 4 very easy quick deliveries. However my 5th one ended in an emergency C-section due to a prolased cord. 

Had I been having him at home chances are he would have died or had brain damage.

After that experience I would not have a home birth

Yes, because I believe in a women's body. It knows what to do instinctively.

No. I have had issues with both deliveries and I would not feel safe with a homebirth.
