It goes both ways. SAHM are demonized for sitting on their asses all day. It is a damned if you do, damned if don't sort of thing.

Thats why im the best of both worlds lol im a stay at home mom but i also make money to help out, i baby sit 4 kids other my own

do what i do!!!! stay at home while they are little work when they are school aged +...plus i do contract writing occassionally for extra spending money lol win win!

This is why I home school, but work part time. :) I actually get to see my children, keep up to date on their education, have tons of fun field trips with them, watch documentaries, but still contribute to the household income.

I do not see why a mom cannot work if all the kids are in school. Not all of us are dedicated to screwing and having endless number of kids.
