You can be a good parent do everything right but what your teen decides is not a reelection on you. They are their own person you can't change that.

What? I'm pretty sure by her saying using BC means they are sexually active and being responsible about it... And values and morals = not having sex to feel better about yourself, not having sex with anyone who asks, blah blah blah... Ya know?

Sneaking out, lying about being at a friends house, skipping school, the list goes on forever. Just a few examples of how a teen could get Free from their parents & have sex.
Parents can't sit on top of them 24/7 & still expect them to become responsible functioning adults.
So it's not bad parenting. It's just bad judgment on the teens part. IMO.

False. I had shitty parents and I knew better than have sex unless I was prepared for any consequence it may bring. I had lots of friends with really good parents and they sure didn't act like it.
