WTF?? Has anyone heard about this? 19 states are petitioning to secede from U.S.

Posted by Anonymous   + Show Post
I just read this on another site....so far its up to 19 states with LA leading the way. These are the rest, NY, FL, MT, IN, GA, KY, NC, MS, ND, NJ, AL, LA, TX, SC, MI, CO, OR, MO, TN....
I'm in Texas, I can only imagine what might happen in case any of these are granted. I think its unlikely, but the world is going to hell. So who knows...

Anyone have a reaction to this?

Yep I know Tx is one of the leading states. The way the US is going I would be happy to see Tx secede from the US yes I am biased but really Tx is its own little planet so to speak

These are small groups of citizens creating petitions to secede.

The states aren't seceding. The state governments are not supporting this. The vast majority of the citizens in the states don't want this.

There isn't a chance in hell of this happening.

the states themselves haven't actually done anything. its just individuals doing online petitions which mean absolutely nothing unless the state steps up and actually does something. which most states will not. the only state I think that might, would be texas maybe. but that about it. but I think texas would be more then fine if they actually did.

When it comes to Texas, you better believe it can happen, it is their state charter, they can secede from the US if they wish.  Too bad the other states didn't think of that.

It happens after every election.
