I didn't say "outvolved" I said outvoted.
and did someone intercet your post, was there more to it that they deleted? otherwise, what do you mean, losing free speech.

when Bush was selected those who protested did so by turning their backs on his motorcade, not on their country.

Quoting Anonymous:

I would assume they're protesting the president/government.  Which is a right by the way, though many of you seem to forget that.  If being "outvolved" means losing free speech and our other rights then we're all screwed.

Quoting autodidact:

Protest.
Quoting Anonymous:

Protect?

Quoting autodidact:

Protecting WHAT, being outvoted?

Quoting Anonymous:

It's a PROTEST.  How many times do I have to point that out to you people?  I highly doubt most of the signers want or even expect to actually be allowed to secede, but they want the government to hear them and do something.  People have done this before, it's just much bigger now.  It is beyond unlikely that anyone will be allowed to secede, but with the number so high the government may try to do something to appease them.  Stop taking it so literally.

That is the jist of the problem, too much federally funded translates to too high taxes for those who pay them. Women who work can have a baby and get back to work in six weeks.  Women who "collect" can have a baby and it takes 18 years to get off her behind and figure out how to take care of herself but by that time she is "disabled". I guess that is why the 18 years are allowed, to give her time to become anxious and depressed and develop an unidentifiable back ache.

Quoting Anonymous 3: I don't see how they'll be able to do it. A lot of programs many women on here utilize, are federally funded. Do you think those will still continue if you're wish is granted?
