What about you?

Quoting Mamasgirl524:

Me too!

What county?

Quoting armywife009:

North Carolina.

Quoting vwd_johnson:

Damn, what state do you live in?

Quoting armywife009:

370. I love living in this small town. :) It's a two bedroom apartment. Houses, nice ones, typically run for about 500/month. But in each surrounding county it is a big jump from what we, in our county, pay.

Lol, I know, it's like damn dude.

We were thinking of moving to Raleigh a while back and was looking at houses and it was around 1200 for a two bedroom. I was thinking "really?", that big of a difference just a few counties over. Blew my mind.

Quoting fitnessdanielle:

That's how my hometown in Kentucky was. When we moved to Alabama and saw houses were renting for 1200.00 I was shocked! My mortgage in Kentucky on a 4 bedroom brick house was 411.00!

we rent and pay 900 for a 3 bedroom 1 bath 1 car garage.

but at the beginning of every year we use our taxes and pay a lump sum so that during the year we only pay 500 a month!

Our mortgage is $650 (property tax included) for a two bedroom two bath townhouse. Part of the attic is finished, and if we added a window it would be considered a third bedroom. There is also space to add a bathroom upstairs.
