Do you think it ok to have a life outside of being a mother?

My children are my life. My life is not my children.

Of course! Just because you're a mother doesn't mean you should lose your identity.

I don't personally.... but as long as it doesn't interfere with your children then it's not a bad thing. I have come across mothers who didn't have a life outside of partying and going out, sad because the kids suffer.

I think its important to have life outside of your kids. I think it is good for your mental health. It helps you have your own identity aside from being ____'s mom.
